Meet Jack Malek

Your Neighbor for 24 Years

Hi! I'm Jack, and like many of you, I moved to Shoreline because it felt like home. That was 24 years ago, and I've loved watching our community grow while keeping that special neighborhood feel we all cherish.

I've spent the last 20 years as a Realtor here in Shoreline, north Seattle, and Edmonds, so I know our housing market inside and out. I see firsthand what families are looking for and the challenges they face.

I earned my Master's in Health Science/Physician Assistant from Quinnipiac University and Yale University, plus a Bachelor's in Molecular-Cell Biology from the University of Arizona.

Deep Community Roots

Over the years, I've had the privilege of serving our community in many ways. I've been involved withShoreLake Arts, served on the Shoreline Community College Foundation Board, participated in our Chamber of Commerce andRotary Club, and spent valuable time on thePlanning Commission. Each role taught me something different about what makes Shoreline tick.

From arts programs that bring neighbors together to business development that keeps our local economy strong, I've seen how the right leadership can make a real difference. I believe in getting things done through collaboration, not conflict.

A Vision We Can Build Together

I'm running for City Council because I want to help preserve what we love about Shoreline while managing growth thoughtfully. We can attract new businesses and create jobs that generate sales tax revenue, helping fund vital services without constantly raising property taxes.

Whether it's improving our transportation connections, supporting local businesses, or making sure our schools have the resources they need and our neighborhoods remain welcoming to families, I believe we can tackle these challenges together while keeping what makes people love Shoreline intact. I know this community, and I'm ready to do even more to serve it.
